A Trips app plans four days in Portugal for four friends. Its Plan shows eleven stops as a board with a column for each day. Each stop has a time and a place, most have a cost and a photo, such as Tram 28 through Alfama, Pena Palace and a Douro boat trip, and Thursday ends with Dinner at Ramiro at 20:00. Beside it, Spent so far shows €1,284 of a €2,000 budget from expenses kept in the Money app, and Bookings lists a flight, two hotels and a train that arrived from Gmail. A pointer clicks Undo in the ask bar, and the plan goes back to a list grouped by day, without the dinner. Then someone says “Show the plan as a board by day and add dinner at Ramiro on Thursday at 8”. The ask bar rises to the middle of the screen over the blurred app and shows the words as they are spoken, then Changed, Heard in 392 ms, Changed in 2.3 s. The blur lifts: the plan becomes a board again, and Dinner at Ramiro lands in Thursday's column.
Apps you use, not code you look after
Plia isn't a tool for writing software. Every app is made from Plia's own blocks, and every change is one of the settings that page offers. You get the app you want, without anything to host, fix or update.
1Say it, or type it
Press the microphone and talk, or type. Your words show up while you speak.
2Plia changes the page
Muse Spark, Meta's AI model, chooses from the changes that page allows. Plia never writes code, so a change can't break your app.
3Undo puts it back
Every change goes into a history. Undo, or Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on a Mac), steps back.
More things you can ask
- “Show my jobs as a board”
- “Add a due date”
- “Mark the Northwind invoice paid”
- “Leave out the paid invoices”
- “Group bookings by service”
- “Add a call with Mara on Friday at 3”
- “Sort by value, biggest first”
- “Rename this page to Leads”
Many kinds of app, from the same blocks
Boards, calendars, stats, charts, goals, tables, documents and galleries. Every Plia app is put together from the same set, which is why the same kind of request works in any of them.
The examples on this page come from a made-up interior design studio.
Each app can have its own look
Four examples of apps made from Plia's blocks: an inbox that Gmail, Slack and Calendly fill, a week of meals, invoices paid through Stripe, and a wedding. Each has its own layout, and each can show records the others keep.
Ask for a look when you describe an app, such as dark, warm or green, and Plia gives it the closest of six themes, three light and three dark. Otherwise it wears the theme you choose in Customize.
Studio Inbox, in the Harbor theme with a sidebar. Emails from Gmail, Slack messages and Calendly bookings arrive as cards on a board with New, Replying and Waiting on them lanes. Each card shows the sender, the subject, a due label and a linked record from another app, such as the Kiln Yard rebrand in Projects or invoice INV-1047 in Get Paid.
Your apps can share any records
Records live in your workspace, not inside one app. Any app can list, chart or link what another app keeps, so the same client turns up wherever you need them.
One client record, Harbour Physio, sits in the middle. Four apps show it: a Bookings calendar has their Thursday walk-through, Invoices lists invoice INV-0142 for £1,240.00, Pulse charts revenue by client with Harbour Physio second, and a Journal page about a site visit links to their deal and booking.
Email, messages and payments arrive as records
Connect Gmail, Slack, Stripe, Google Calendar or 3,000+ other apps through Pipedream. Choose an event, like a new email or a payment, and the app it goes to. Each one arrives as a record you can sort, filter and change like any other, on every screen you have open.
3,000+ apps you can connect
A few of them, through Pipedream Connect
- and many more
Three events from connected apps, a new Gmail email from Maya Okafor, a Stripe payment of £1,240.00 from Harbour Physio and a Slack message, pass through Pipedream and arrive as records: the email becomes a new lead in Pipeline and the payment becomes a new payment in Invoices.
- Read only to startA new connection can read from the other app. It sends only after you allow sending.
- You choose what comes inTurn each kind of event on or off, and pick the app it goes to.
- Sign-ins stay with PipedreamThe keys to your other apps are held by Pipedream and never reach your browser.

Questions
What is Plia?
Plia is a web app that gives you your own apps for work and life, such as client bookings, invoices, a recipe box or a wedding plan.
You change an app by saying or typing what you want, and Plia applies the change in seconds. There is no code to write and no settings page to learn.
Is Plia an AI coding tool?
No. Plia doesn't write or run code. Every app is made from Plia's own blocks, and every change is a setting picked from a fixed list of what that page can do, then checked before it is applied.
The apps are for you to use day to day. There is nothing to publish, host or maintain.
How do I make an app?
Say or type what you need, such as a meal planner with a shopping list or a client tracker linked to your invoices. Plia plans the records, pages and look, and builds the app in front of you in seconds. It reuses records you already keep, so a new app can show your existing clients.
You can also start from a ready-made app and make it yours by asking.
What can I change by asking?
How each page shows your records. You can sort, filter and group lists, switch between a list, a table, cards and a board, add a text, number, money or date field, hide or rename columns, rename pages, and move or remove parts of a page. Charts can switch between bars, lines and areas, by day, week or month.
You can also add and update records by asking, such as “mark the Northwind invoice paid” or “add a call with Mara on Friday at 3”. Every change can be undone.
If you ask for something a page can't do, such as putting records on a map, Plia says so and offers the closest change it can make.
Can each app look different?
Yes, when you ask for one. Say how an app should look when you describe it, such as dark, warm or green, and Plia gives it the closest of six themes, three light and three dark. An app without a theme of its own follows the theme you choose in Customize.
How do my apps share data?
Your records are kept in your workspace, not inside one app. Any app in the workspace can show records another app keeps: a dashboard can chart payments and bookings, and a journal page can link to the deal and the booking it is about.
How does voice work?
Press the microphone in the ask bar and speak. Muse Voice Transcribe, from Meta, turns your words into text while you talk. Muse Spark then picks the change from what that page can do, and the app updates.
Your audio passes through to be transcribed and is not stored. You can always type instead.
Can a change break my app?
No. A change can only be one of the settings that page offers. If it isn't what you meant, press Undo, or Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on a Mac).
What does Plia get from my Google account?
If you sign in with Google, Plia receives your name, email address and profile picture, and uses them only to create and run your account. Signing in does not give Plia access to your Gmail or your calendar.
You can sign in with a code sent to your email instead. Plia has no passwords.
What happens to my data?
Your apps and records are kept in your own workspace database. When you ask for a change, Plia sends Meta's Muse models your words, the layout of the page and the records it shows, so it can change the right ones.
When you ask for something Plia can't do yet, Muse writes a short label for what was missing, such as “place records on a drawing”, and we keep it so we know what to build next. Muse is told to leave out names and personal details.
Plia does not sell your data, show ads or train AI models on it. The privacy policy has the details.
Can I share my apps?
Yes. Invite someone to your workspace by email and send them the invite link. For each app you choose whether they can edit it, only view it, or not see it at all. Changes show on everyone's screen as they happen.
Which apps can I connect?
More than 3,000 apps through Pipedream, including Gmail, Slack, Stripe and Google Calendar. You choose which events come in, such as a new email or a payment, and which of your apps they go to. Each event becomes a record.
A new connection can only read from the other app. Plia sends email or messages only after you allow sending for that connection.
What does it cost?
New workspaces start with a free 30-day trial, and no card is needed. The trial includes an allowance for AI changes. If you use it up, you can still edit your apps by hand. Paid plans aren't on sale yet.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Plia runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and every app adjusts to the screen. A change you make on one device shows on the others straight away.
